I only met Vernon once, however, my father, Jerry Nitz, held him in high reguard. He had known him for many years and based on what he said, Vernon was top notch. My prayers are sent to Vernon's family - may your great memories far outweigh your grief!

I never met Vernon, but my mom and dad, Tom and Joyce Taylor, spoke very highly of Vernon and Barbara. I always felt like I knew them because mom and dad were so close to them when they were young. Keep all of the wonderful memories close during these tough times. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Vernon and i spent many summers at his home or my home at Winterpock just having fun. when we were together at his home it was great when his dad would bring home a box of radio parts which we used to make many one tube radios. This was the beginning of both our work in the electronic field.
