I met Verna at the Hymn Sings that I am privileged to lead at Luther Haus once a month! She was such a joy to know! I loved her spunkiness and love of life! Last Fri. she told me that she knew she was getting worse physically. However, she also told me that she was 'at peace'! I knew what she meant- that she knew Jesus as her Saviour and would be with Him when she passed on. Such peace!
