Ventis was a wonderful man which I had the privilege of knowing. He was a miracle and I am sure he is no longer in pain and at home with his loving wife Maija.

Ventis was a one of a kind gem.  His mind, sharp as a tack.  He hardly ever complainde about anything.  Going to miss seeing him at church.  Rest in peace dear friend.

I was blessed to know Ventis Plume.  I knew him from Anchorage East Rotary and the Presbyterian Fellowship.  He was a sweet, kind man, with a love for people - especially his family - and a gentle sense of humor.  I am sad he is gone and my heart goes out to all who are grieving his loss.  He was a treasure.
