I only knew Velma in her later years and she was a hoot.  Up until a few years ago she was very busy getting out of her home 5 days a week spending time with other seniors at a local center.  I enjoyed working with her and her daughter who  supported her and her needs through the years.  She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
