I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  Death isn't anything that God ever purposed for us. In fact the Bible promises a time when there will be no more death sorrow or tears.  Isaiah 25:8 says "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces".
