Dear Keith and Kyle I will miss my dear friend Val. I have so many wonderful memories over the last 60 years. Fun at Mendums with our kids and in later years our many trips together. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Love Judy Henry
Fond memories of Val when we were kids in Nova Scotia. We always looked forward to summers when our cousins Val and Phil spent school vacations with Grandma and Grandpa on the farm. My deepest sympathy to Keith and family, Kyle, Phil and Pam.

So many wonderful memories at Mendum Pond, years ago with Ron and Val, Ron and Deanna and Bob and Rose. We had so much fun and will always remember what a great time we had. We were sad to hear of Val's passing and our thoughts and prayers are with Keith and Kyle and families. Lois and Harold
I still remember Val running through a field of daisies down on the farm when she was three or four years old She was beautiful and I always loved having her an Phil come in the summers.Lots of memories.! Love and sympathy to all.Aunt Alberta, though she never called me that as we were only about eight years apart.
Val was a such wonderful lady. I originally met her, Ron, Keith and Kyle when I was still in diapers playing next door on the shores of Mendums ("The Lake"). I then had the privilege of knowing her throughout my entire life. Keith, still one of my best friends, and Kyle, and families, we are very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Ron Berton and families.
Although I haven't seen much of Val over the past years anytime I did it was like we had just talked the day before. I first met Val when she drove Kyle and I to the movies after I had met him riding dirt bikes up at Mendums. She was such a thoughtful caring person and loved her quick wit. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayer to all that loved her and especially to you Kyle and Keith
Dear Keith & Kyle, I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. Last time I saw her was when Pam and I went for a ride and decide to go by the old camp, "Stonehamlet". We followed her on the dirt road to the little A frame camp we used to frequent with Grammy & Grampy Hovey. My condolences, she was wonderful lady! She invited us in and we chatted a while. Such a sweetie. My prayer are also with you.
Keith & Kyle, Val had such a wonderful smile and contagious laugh! We fondly remember the many days you both played with Mark in the water at your Summer cottage while Beth & Val visited. Val & Ron were an important part of our life @ Mendums & we miss them both.
