So saddened and shocked. I lived 2 houses away as a kid and knew all the Colliers including Tommy's grandparents and one great grandfather, and spent much time in their homes and back yards. We began school together at Robert Fulton and were best buds during childhood. Sincere condolences to all of his extended family,
Marti, We were so sad to see where Tom passed Sunday. He fought a good fight and we are sure God met him saying "Well done, my good and faithful servant". Your grand babies and years of memories will provide you such comfort now and into the future. If there is anything that Dennis and I can do, please let us know. We will have you all in thoughts and prayers.
Marti, so very sorry to hear the sad news. I've known Tom since the 7th grade. He was a good man and always a good friend. We shall miss him greatly
Marti, and Chris, Tommy Collier was one of my high school football coaches at Lee-Davis in the fall of 1972, and one of my track coaches. He joked with me and was fun, and he respected me. After graduation I went to a football banquet and saw him again and met you, Marti. Glad to read he is with the Lord. I will see him again. God give you peace and grace until then. Psalm 84:11-12.
So very sorry for your loss Lori and Marti. I know he will be truly missed by all. Sorry I could not attend visiting hours today. My thoughts are with you though.
