Tom is one of the most exceptional educators I have ever worked with. Anyone who can share a crowded hotel room with me and others in Washington, DC, for a teacher's union convention, definitely deserves the highest accolades! I remember his stories of growing up in Martinez and now that I live in Antioch, I think of him often when I take my AMTRAK journeys from the train station there.
