Dear hubby, I miss you. You said you would be okay and be home with me. I am here waiting for you day by day. Time to prune trees, set up thanksgivings decorations, clean leaves, fix the fence and garage door, shopping, dinner, watch tv, laundry, walk at beach front... Where are you?  Ready for your birthday cake and celebration? No pain and sufferings in Heaven! Love, Hua

Come back dear Terry. Rock, Ranger, your favorite books, bike trails, beautiful fall colors… all miss you and wait for your return. We drove a long way from Toronto to sunshine California. We build the home and life together. I know you can see. I know you are with me. “I love you!” ”Same here.” Rest In Peace, we'll meet in Heaven.

Tomorrow is your birthday, and you almost reached it! I hope you are up there celebrating. Should I order lobster for the occasion? I was very glad to have sent you last year's lobsters for your 70th. May be we will celebrate the occasion here.

Dear Terry, happy birthday! we miss you. You are lucky to have a wonderful wife, Hua, to be your lifetime companion. It touches my heart to see you two so in love and in sync. It has been our sincere pleasure to have known you and to befriend with you. I treasure our times together and cherish our friendship. Take good care of yourself and please look after Hua from up there. We love you.

Happy Birthday, Old man. I miss you, everytime I read a news story that makes me want to send a link to you, and get your reaction to how this country is "going to hell in a handbasket." I think of how many times I watched you walk past my house at the end of one of your epic walks, but didn't go out to call to you. It was a good feeling when you saw me in front of my house, and called out with some insult or joking remark. I always enjoyed the talk that followed. We should have talked every time you passed by. Too many times, I watched you pass by, keeping to yourself and looking straight ahead towards your house down the street. I should have shouted to you. I miss you.

I miss you, my friend. When we first met we got along with each other quite well. Of course we both enjoyed the same pastime, beer and wine drinking. We helped each other out often with chores around our houses and a lot of other stuff. We even fought City Hall together. I remember when you had a dispute with the mayor and it was fun watching the mayor  get riled up. Rest In Peace, Terry.

Terry I loved the years we spent on BART every morning with Margie.  You would read each of our horoscopes and we would laugh!  We talked about Canada, Politics, Travel and family.  I know you loved Hua very much and your Sister/family.  We laughed every morning and you always had that newspaper.  God Bless you Terry, you are missed.  Prayers are being said for your soul.  Keep watch.

Dear hubby, two months now, how are you? Friday, grocery shopping day. Blue sky, white clouds, fresh air after rain. You would really like it. Got two pumpkins again, one for you, one for me. Did not put out Jake o lantern, straw man, small devils, and happy straw dolls. They would be sad without you.  I went to Las Vegas last month, collecting our foot prints 20 years ago. Miss & love. RIP.

Dear hubby, 3 months today, still don’t want to believe. Thanksgivings week now, no cheerful shopping and turkey dinner with friends. I will bring you to sunshine Tuscany. We did do our fall yard work together, picked up falling leaves, trimmed branches, fixed grape stands, and cleaned eavestrough roughly. Better than nothing, as we usually say. Be good, you are deeply missed and loved!

Dear hubby, back from our mini vacation to beautiful Tuscany: Milano, Montecatini, Luca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Siena, Piazza del Campo, San Gimignano, Florence. Visited Michelangelo’s David, Uffizi gallery, and climbed 463 steps to Giotto's Bell Tower…reminding me our last trip to Amsterdam, Belgium, Luxembourg Jun 2019. Time flies, memories stay. Best wishes to you in heaven.

Dear Hubby, four months already? First Christmas alone, trying to acknowledge and face the world without your company. It’s rainy and cold. The pile of leftover firewood reminds me of old time and warms me up. I am going to Alaska with friends. Hope to bring back pictures of Northern lights. Cold and lonely there? My heart is with you, holding hands together for the holiday season. Love.

Went to Oakland, office clean up, 1st maybe last since March 2020.working from home. Too many memories, 1st stop crossing continent from Toronto, police siren and chalk figures on the street, lake Merritt, Albertsons', tennis court, China town, A’s cafe, bike trips around, tacos at international blvd, white elephant sale, art store, numerous KP medical building visits… Honey, I miss you!

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on February 22nd, 2022

Dear Hubby, 6 months already? Spring is here, flowers blossomed early, peach, apricot, lemon, orange, a full bed of yellow flowers under the sun at backyard. The maple tree in the front came alive after extensive trim work last fall, so will you, right? I dealt with a major water leakage under the house. Also had a bad fall, unconscious and woke up from cold floor. Wish you are here. Love.

Dear hubby, sorry no St Patrick celebration this year, no corn beef or parsnips, Visited southern Spain and Portugal. We were there Lisbon & Seville, missed you. I am retired today. I know you’d like me working longer but old and tired and no need for additional health care. Walked around Lake Merritt, 20 years, too many memories. Came as a pair and exit a lone bird. Honey, can you hear ?

Dear hubby, I am traveling again, Istanbul 5 days myself, Croatia and Sicily with tour group, Athens and islands around myself. We planned some of the destinations in the past. You’d really like it, seaside cities, splendid ancient architectures /sculptures, seafood and beers, Mafia stories. I miss you dear hubby! Lighted a candle for you at Taormina Cathedral. Wish you well and RIP.

Dear Hubby, 8 months already? Hot hot summer again, like last year when you moved to Walnut Creek ManorCare nursing home. At least I could come to see you, cleaning up and fixing the nails, rolling wheelchair together to court yard, sun bathing, checking gold fishes at end of corridor. I miss you dear, so do Rock, your beloved home, trees, firewoods, garage and yard. No pain in heaven.

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on July 1st, 2022

Dear hubby, first 4th of July without you even though you were at nursing home last year. Too many memories in this small town, colorful parade and flags, musics, dancings at the city center. What can I do tears and a broken heart? Tried to be very active outdoors and travel. The pain is hard to cover. Endless miss and hugs!

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on July 23rd, 2022

Dear hubby, 11 months already. Last July, stepped into the hardest time period, suffering, hopeless, and still fighting, in and out of the hospital, final trip grocery shopping using wheelchair, oxygen and equipment set up at home, wished to have a few peaceful days together. Life is so treasures and fragile. Wish we could hug one more time. Be brave, you and me. Will meet again in heaven.

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on August 22nd, 2022

Dear Hubby: One year anniversary today. I went to Kaiser Walnut creek hospital, stood below 3rd floor window where you last stayed. Feel like yesterday, you are still there. One more hold and hug. Rest in peace. No more suffer and sickness in heaven. Finally I decided to box your over 1000 book collection. They will be In good hand, a very nice community book project. Take care and love.

Dear Terry. I can still hear your warm laughter my friend, as clear as if you were on the other end of the line calling from California, just to say hello. May your soul be blessed.

Happy birthday dear hubby! Would like to get your favorite cheese cake, lobsters, wine and birthday card. I added the birthday photos from 2021. Dear Terry, Christmas Eve now. Facebook sent photos of our Christmas trip to Panama, Ecuador, and Galapagos 5 years ago. We were adventurers, jumping between tropical towns and islands, walking long trails to ocean, meeting dolphins, crocodiles giant tortoise, laguna…then Ecuador and Panama Canal. Glad we did it, great memories! Miss you. Have a merry & peaceful Christmas in heaven. Love.

Dear Terry, Happy St Patrick’s day. Long time no see. Lots changed, house and yard. Spring is here, blooming peach and apricot trees. Remember the fence you fixed before? Heavy wind yesterday broke it again, need a new one. You are here with me, everywhere. Sun valley mall, grocery stores, restaurants, home, parks, trips. Take care, I’ll write to you more in my diary book, just you & me.

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on August 19th, 2023

Dear hubby, can’t believe, almost 2 years. Put together some photos for precious memories. You went too soon, too early. I tried to be brave and traveled alone a lot, using the same agency and doing same routines as we usually did. Felt you were there. I like to stop at famous cathedrals, lit candles and sent my pray. Wish all is well, rest in peace, love!

Candle lit  by Hua Wang on October 3rd, 2023

Happy birthday dear Terry! Wish you were here, enjoying the cake, candles, drinks, and your favorite lobsters. Wish you are surrounded by past family members, friends old and new, still joke, speak and laugh loudly. Miss you, sending love, hugs and pray!
