I've just learned Sylvia passed away. She & my mom Judy Arendt, who also taught at Lakeshore, were great friends, back in the day! I last saw her at a Democrat function at the Spinning Wheel around 2013! I was shocked she knew of my union activities & how proud of me she was! Was a great talk with a rule breaker of her caliber! R.I.P!
