I worked with Suzanne at VITA and NG from 1984 until 2016. Suzanne was a kind and friendly person. She was looking forward to retirement and moving to Florida. May the family find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Dear Suzanne - after we took my dad off life support in 2017, and I was driving home, I heard an interview with Neil Diamond. His daughter asked him where do people go when they die. He answered that they go into the hearts of others. You will be in my heart forever. Safe journeys wherever they take you.
Suz and I bonded over cats, craft beers, music, knitting and Pusheen. Our friendship is something I will cherish always, and I am forever thankful to have had your light and beautiful soul in my life. I hope you're resting easy, and I'm thinking extra hard of your family and of course, Chardonnay.
Suz and I had a unique friendship, in that we never actually met in person—we became friends via Facebook through a mutual friend, when we noticed that we always agreed with each other’s comments and opinions. We corresponded often and always said we would meet in person someday. We never made it, but we proved that friendship knows no physical limitations. I will miss her so much.
