These are just a few of the many things that my family&I will always associate with Susana: the book Clickety Clack Moo; Pogonip; West Cliff; cute socks; rib nights; a new prim white nightgown 1x/year; salad in her purple glass bowl, always topped w/carrots cut into flower shapes; farmers' markets; high-end sauerkraut; German Xmas decorations;sketch books bought for my kids.
Susana was a kind soul . Although only seeing her a few times over the years, during my family visits she ALWAYS had a big hug and a kiss on the cheek for me. She had a way about her that made you feel connected to her light.May she find the peace and happiness she brought to so many herself.
Susana (or Susi) was 18 when I first knew her in Spain. She was kind, soft spoken and gentle but with a strong sense of her own beliefs and the life she wanted to live which she found in Santa Cruz. Wherever she was she created a home. She made me a better person when I was around her. The world is a sadder place without her. She will be greatly missed.
Susana is one of most wonderful people to bless this earth. She always seemed to be able to radiate brightness, warmth, and love wherever she went. I will look for you in the sun, Susana!
When you met Susana you stood in the warmth of the Spanish sun and the gentleness of English manners. She blessed us all with her smile and her nurturing heart. This world has lost the presence of the goddess and we will all miss her so deeply. Shine through to us Susana, I will see you in every rainbow.
