This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Susan Wagnon, 61, born on November 23rd, 1959 and passed away on April 23rd, 2021. We will remember her forever.
I first met Susan in 1987. She was working at a clinic on Fireweed at the time. I had a hamster that was found in a dumpster. She stayed up all night caring for it.
She cared for all of our dogs. One cattledog was afraid of vets so she did his exam and gave his shots in the parking lot between frisbee throws. Rip Susan.
Our condolences to Susan's family. Susan provided care to our pets for many years. We'll never forget her special smile and gentle way with the fur babies (and their parents.) Our son played CYSA soccer at the same time as her son and it was a treat when we could visit with her while watching the games. She will be missed. -Frank and Margery Pratt
Sincere condolences to Susan's family. From our time together at Alaskan Sled Dog and Racing Association and the World Championship Sled Dog Race to the care she provided to our pets, Susan was a part of our lives for many years. She was a friend and more than that.
I somehow missed this sad news. My husband and I (and our two rescue kitties from Texas) first met Susan in 1992. She was such a lovely lady and a caring vet who guided us thru many years. We cherish her memory. May she be at peace.
I just saw this on google and I’m really saddened by the news. Susan took care of all my dogs when I lived in Alaska. She was so kind and gentle with the animals and humans. We had many laughs over my dogs and hers! She is missed, I’m sure!
Prayers for the family!
Saddened to find this news in the CSU Vet School "Impact" Magazine. As a classmate in Vet School (1985), I remember Susan as a gentle soul. She will undoubtedly be missed by many. Hugs to all who knew and cherished her.
