My dear mother in law taught me many things and inspired me to learn about Japanese food and culture. Being gracious was one of her best qualities. I never heard her say a harsh word, she truly was sweet. She remained really beautiful her whole life even through all the adversity she witnessed. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever. Thank you for your love, Mom.

Mrs. Tokubo will always have a very special place in my heart, not only as my very best friend's mother, but as the kind, gracious, beautiful lady she was.  I will always remember her sincere words of support when I was having some trying times in my life.  And I will always be grateful for the kindness and generosity I received from both Mr. and Mrs. Tokubo.   Aloha nui loa.
