I am so sorry for the loss of your family member.  Death is so unnatural and isn't anything that God ever intended for us.  I have found much comfort in this Scripture found at Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces ".
