My uncle Steve: loving, funny, athletic, caring, thoughtful and best uncle! My memories involve laughing and having fun. I remember when I was little and he called me "schnoo schnoo" and would help me in critiquing my cannon ball into the pool haha. The last day we spent time was an epic day at Pope Beach (Lake Tahoe)celebrating the 4th. A perfect day that will live on in my heart forever.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Taj, Steven and Madison, the LeRoy siblings; his nephews and nieces and to the many, many friends Steve made in his life.

Like so many others, there have been many memories between Steve and myself over the past 50 plus years. There just isn’t room here for more than the most loved memory.

My most cherished memory of all is introducing Steve to Taj at Mac’s some 35 years ago. Steve was in his number 15 Panther home jersey and I, as it were, officiating the introduction. Taj said, “I know who you are, you’re Steve LeRoy,” and they were inseparable from that night on..

So sorry to hear of the loss of Steve. My heart goes out to the whole family. Growing up on Louis Dr. our backyards met. I remember him playing in the hood, our families getting together at the C. Street pool for picnics and swimming. He was always such a fun and active part of every group. I know his loss will be felt greatly by his family. Our love to them in this time of grief.

My cousin Steve loved his family more than anything and I loved him for that. We shared special times. We laughed a lot and cried too. He will be missed by so many. My heart goes out toTaj, Steven, Natalie and Maddison. It is a huge loss for which I can't find words. R.I.P. Steve!

In only a short few years of knowing Steve and working with him, I felt like I’ve known him a lifetime! Steve and Taj are such good, kind people and I feel privileged to get to hang out with them.  Steve, thank you for all the solid advice during all our dodgeball and free play days at Hillview! You will never be forgotten!
