The lives Steve touched were enriched by him. The poignant memories he created will last forever in the hearts and minds of all who knew him.
Steve was the first person talked to when my late husband and I moved to our little community 16 years ago. We had many conversations in our driveway and also when we met while walking our dogs. Steve was very intelligent, caring and the love he had for his family ran deep. We miss you Steve.
Entropy's a bitch but you used your time here well. Thank you for taking care of and loving Debbi and the boys so well all these years. Thank you for sending so much of your art and soul out into the world. Thank you for telling my son his first dirty joke before he was even a day old, and thank you for teaching me proper protocol for ordering in an Asian restaurant.
Steve and Debbie and Barbara and I, Moved into Liebelt Ct around the same time but our
introduction to one another was through one of the Boys, not sure which one. Barbara
and I were walking by the pool where all the Walowitz’s were enjoying a pleasant
afternoon, when one of the boys popped his head up out of the water and stated that he
had just Faaarrted in the pool! Which drew laughs from Barbara and I! We knew at that
moment, we were going to like this family and so we did, as for the next 30 years that
friendship became stronger and stronger. One Christmas Eve, Steve asked if I would help
him assemble new bikes for the boys. Of course and at a predetermined time after the
boys had gone to bed, Steve and I descended on these two boxes of parts and proceeded
to assemble them and after a fair number of a bad joke and good Rum and coke we finished
the task and I think only one of the bikes came away without a kickstand and to our
credit neither of them fell apart! Those were just a few of the good times there were many
others, complex wide parties, group outings to concerts and bar-b-q’s to name a few, but
there were sad time as well. The passing of Steve’s parents to say nothing of the passing
of my beloved wife, Barbara, Both Steve and Debbie were with Aaron and I when she
passed. Had it not been for our, Steve and Mine’s morning coffee meeting I would most
assuredly not come out the other side with my sanity. Sorry I couldn’t be there as much
as I wanted Debbie. I always appreciated Steve’s philosophical approach to life’s
Keystone moments, The Birth of a child or the death of a parent or a partner. Much like
everything else in Steve’s life, after his diagnosis, he remained calm and Philosophical
and much like he once said to me after Barbara’s passing, She showed us all how to die.
And Steve showed us that as well. I will miss you, Steve!
Yes, its been one hell of a ride! I'm honored to have known Steve. He was smart, kind, talented and so creative. He also had the best sense of humor. We worked together for many years and reconnected about two years ago. I treasure the times we had together, and I'm so happy I've gotten to know Debi. Sending my blessings and love to the Wolowitz family. We will never forget Steve.
I have so many stories it’s hard to say where to begin. Steve was a business partner but also a good friend, and in both of those relationships, I couldn’t ask for more from another human being. Steve was funny, talented, and dedicated and just an overall wonderful man. I know he loved his family dearly, and I know he will be missed by so many, myself included.
I had the true pleasure of knowing Steve for many, many years, thanks to Debbi's better judgement. He was the kind of person who made each of us feel like he was our best friend. Lots of love for family, and friends. We truly loved, and still love, him. Several years ago Steve became one of my best artist friends.Truly wonderful!

He has always been my rock , and someone that I would look to for advice on many subjects . I always looked forward to our long phone conversations and our visits with one another. We never ran out of words or laughs I will cherish these times forever I am so proud and blessed that Steve was in my life and that I was able to call him my brother I will miss you Steve you will always be in my heart and memories forever love your sister Vicki
Steve taken from us too soon but a blessing to have had him at all.. A friendship with Jeremy and Jordan and our grandson Ian tied us to Steve and Debi in an unbreakable bond.
My and my late husband's time with him was limited but blessed beyond words in his influence in Ian's life. How fortunate to have had him, and family, in our lives.
Dearest Steve, Debbie and Sons. I happened upon this tribute while looking to connect with you all! To say the least, I am stunned to learn of Steve’s passing and your loss.I knew him and Debbie only briefly as a result of dinner parties with the Zarrellas. He was kind, intelligent and brilliant. The World is a darker place without him. Love always. Dennis Elliot Caines
