I’m sorry for your loss.  Stan will be missed by many.   I have fond memories of Stanley and Elspeth’s hospitality.  They were such wonderful, warm people.  I remember talking to them about their war-time courtship, and my own long distance romance with the sailor who is now my husband.

Malden Lutheran Church helped my mom as an immigrant from east germany  her first friend was Elspeth and if you know them Stan would be never far behind  Their love of God and home and German and Swedish traditions were deep  My mom and I made them a money tree and hosted our only party for their Silver Wedding Anniversary  We loved to watch Stan paint, fly his planes and love his legacy
