Oma was such a beautiful and strong person inside and out!  Such a kind mother and grandmother, always serving, joyful and loving. Through her life she taught us to make family the priority, the art of hospitality, and what it looks like to live in gratitude every day. I love her and will miss her positive spirit.

We first met Sonja 12 years ago when our son married Melissa. Right from the start she made you feel like a friend. She is the strongest woman I have ever met but also clothed with love for family.  Everytime we went to California to visit our son and saw her she would tell me how she adored her beloved Perry.  P.S. Sonja,,, we will truly miss your rum cake!!!!!
