I am sad to hear that. Sofia hired me at IBM into my first management position. She was a great manager, coach and all around wonderful person. She was super smart, interesting, inspirational, and creative.  My daughter, who co-oped for her, will be sad to hear of her passing. I still think about  her coaching on managing complex engineering projects. She’ll be missed.
