I met Sr. Marie when I joined the faculty at St. Joseph High School in January of 1971. A brand-new teacher, I immediately felt the acceptance, joy and peace that she exuded, and we soon became close friends. She was my go-to confidant, continually guiding me out of the trouble spots I constantly got into. I treasure my time with her, the laughter, the discovery, the music. I was blessed.
