I will always remember Cynthia as an independent, strong willed, yet gentle soul. She lived a simple life, foregoing a material filled world and rather, filling her heart and being with a love for her family, friends and always treasuring the time spent with them. She was the family historian, being the eldest of sixteen , and loved recounting details of the past. When you were in her company, however, she wanted to be present; listening and truly interested is what was “ new with you”. She loved being by the ocean and when she described her experiences in Vancouver, Nova Scotia and especially Ireland; her face would light up like a child’s on Christmas morning. The last 19 months presented many challenges for her, but she met them with great courage, grace and humility. Such an example for all of us. My sincerest condolences to all the Nobles and the Sisters in her community.
