Through our children we meet as I was not 'cool' with how they "played" and went to complain.  A very pretty, petite lady came to the door and I explained why I was there and she retaining her laughter said she was sorry for her daughter's behavior.  I went home and the next thing I know Jeff and I were invited to dinner.  The adventure and life begin right after and WE never looked back.

Mom had a big heart and great laugh. Always wanted to make people happy. I will miss you dearly. Rest In Peace, Mom, for you are with The Lord now.

Shirley always had a smile and a kind word. She always made me feel welcome and loved. Hugs and Kisses were her greeting and I will miss that. She had joy and love for her family. She will be sorely missed but always in our hearts

My sister Shirley was 15 months younger than me. And she was a pain in my @#%$ because she was always wearing my clothes without asking, taking my make up, normal sister stuff. But I paid her back one day by smashing a raw egg in her hair just as she was leaving to meet her friends. She has told this story to everyone, all the way up to last week in the hospital. I am so lost without her!

I am the tallest of the sisters, Shirley the shortest. I made it a point in every picture I could to stand next to her and make a short joke. I started noticing that sometimes she would look for me for pictures. I am going to miss standing next to shortie and giving her a hard time. This is so surreal, a nightmare I hope to wake from.

My sister Shirley had the biggest heart and so in tune to the needs of others. She would give anyone anything that she saw they needed. Her laughter and smiles could light up a room. We loved to laugh together! We will be laughing together again someday. Miss you my sweet sister. I am lost right now. I know you are with the Lord.

Two sides of Shirley that I will always remember are the over-the-top generosity, and the love of a good prank. I can't tell you how many times Shirley wouldn't take no for an answer, and would go out and get anything that she thought would make you happier. But she also enjoyed hanging your friend's bikini underwear on the ceiling fan for all to see. She made Doh Young part of the family.

I met Shirley at family parties that I was always lucky enough to be invited too and she was always having fun just being with her family. I was blessed to have gotten to spend more time with her over the last year and she was always so very sweet and loving to me sharing  stories & pictures of family. These memories will always keep me smiling as I remember her. Keeping her in my prayers
