Sandy Doss Silveous Wilkinson died peacefully on February 10th in Findlay, Ohio at the age of 73. She was born January 15, 1945 to Lelmar Lee and Sylvia Louise Doss. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Eva Trachsel and Louise McCombs and grandson Michael Seymour.
Sandy is survived by her husband Rudy Wilkinson, daughter Robin Houser, son Jerry (Elizabeth) Silveous, and her brother Eddie (Terry) Doss. She was grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Sandy retired in 2008 from her career in nursing home office administration. She enjoyed citizen band radio, internet, crochet, Elvis Presley music, and her friends and her pets.
At her request, there will be no services. Sandy's family will be having a private service this spring at the farm where she grew-up.
Even though I did not know Mrs Wilkinson, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to her family. Acts 24 : 15, Psalms 37 : 29, Isaiah 25 verse 8 gives us more comfort for today and hope for the future. Just think how much God wants us to live forever and how much he loves us and how we will see our loved one's again.
I have a number of fond memories of Aunt Sandy! She actually pierced my ear's for me many year's ago. Ice and a potatoe. I can remember going to her and Uncle Wayne's back in the day. Of course this was when Robin, Jerry, and I were quite young. I did get to see Aunt Sandy this past year and it was ironic for me that she still looked the way she did when I was young! I will miss her dearly
