Samuel Teel III, 78, was born in February 1943 and passed away in November 2021. He is survived by his sister Debbie Farwell, five of his six children, David Teel, Patricia Russo, Jane Teel-Kohlbrenner, Laura Dunn, Michelle Teel-Geden, Jennifer Escamilla, eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was loved dearly by us all. We will remember him forever.
There is never an appropriate time to lose a love one, but having lost our dad just before Thanksgiving did allow his family to be together and share just how much he touched our lives. Of course different for everyone, but all will always remember him for his travels around the world. He flew his own plane, sail the South Pacific, and the fishing, diving, and hunting trips. We’ll miss him
My heart is broken. Sam was the one person I knew would always be there for me if ever I needed help. He blessed me with over 25 years of wonderful experiences above and below the water, hunting with him on the ranch he loved so much, and his true labor of love....my home. Thank you, Sam, for everything. I'll love you forever.
Thanks for the wonderful memories of family life, raising and watching our kids grow, our happy times building our homes, our time at ground school and flying our Cessna, and all the other moments shared as husband and wife. So grateful for those happy times. We will miss you especially on family holiday gatherings. Love always TT
I am so sorry to hear we lost you, dear Sam. I will always remember your wild boar sausage parties, diving in Carmel Bay and Santa Barbara, listening to your stories and sharing our love for food and adventure. You were one of a kind and I know I won't meet another man like you. You are loved and will never be forgotten. Thank you for including me in your adventures. I was blessed. Love!
So sad for your family for their loss. We worked together at Eastman Kodak in the late 1960's. You were such a caring father. We took David and Patty to the SF Zoo & it was easy to see how much you adored them. I will so miss the daily jokes you sent out. When they suddenly stopped in November, I just knew you were gone. My husband just found this notice and told me. God Bless your family
Very sorry to learn of this sad news. RIP good man
Sam was our neighbor and good friend for forty years. He helped us chop down trees, rescued our cat from the top of his tree, supplied us with fresh eggs, quiches, and or course fish, and always made us laugh. He was never to busy to help. We will miss him very much. Thoughts go to his family. Goodbye Sam and thank you for your friendship.
