I find that in life, having lots of friends is great but, I came to find out that most of my friends were just acquaintances, not close friends. Roy, on the other hand was one of 4 people that were life mates. Friends that stick with you in good times and bad. I'm not sure when I met Roy, (I'm thinking Jr. High) But he played Drums and so did I, (not the best at that time) but, hey, we were kids. So we had an instant bond in music. Roy went on to be a baker and I went on to be a Professional Drummer. Hanging out at the Newhall house was the best and so were the parties. There are so many stories' it's hard to tell all in this page but I loved the Buts' with all my heart. Joyce, Herman, Els, Roy and Robbie, and of course Mr. and Mrs. Buts and, as it turns out there was Marie the oldest who passed at 3 years old. I believe with every fiber of my being that Roy is with his sister and my little Brother having the time of there life's. I miss you so much Roy, and I miss that VW Bug too. God Bless,
Bobby Peters.
