What a kind gentleman Roy was. He was my stepmother's good friend at Covenant Woods. When I would visit her ,Roy often joined us for meals and other outings and I so enjoyed hearing his stories about his family and his childhood years. I am grateful for their friendship and for all the help and support he gave her over the years. I am fortunate to have know him and will miss him.
Roy was one of the gentlest and most considerate men I have ever known. He was a friend to so many, someone you could always count on to be there and to do the right thing. His kindness toward my stepmother, Libby, was appreciated by our entire family. His grace and forbearance during his final illness serve as an example to us all. How he will be missed!
Uncle Roy was indeed a kindred spirit , with much wisdom and thought. He had the right prescription for everyone who knew him, His manner, style and stories were good medicine for us all. Yes , Roy Allen will be missed , but least we have his prescriptions for living life well and to the fullest , LOVE ETERNAL
