As a new physician in Anchorage in the early 1980s, I was happy to meet Ross, a very bright physician who had a vast interest not only in medicine but also in a library of other topics. He was gentle and kind to his patients and was a pleasure to work with. We missed him when he moved east.
We send our deep sympathy for his family.
I have many fond memories with Ross. Helping build his cabin on the Kenai River, fishing during the sockeye run, hunting for caribou in King Salmon, Ak, his soft spoken presence and working with him professionally. He will be greatly missed!
