She always looked forward to the turkey and I always looked forward to the ham. I know she is in heaven with our family who passed before us enjoying a feast on this Thanksgiving day. I am thankful for having her as my sister and will miss not spending this holiday with her; however. I am thinking of her today and will always have her in my heart.
One year ago today I lost you too soon, my sister--during the worst circumstances. I always imagined I would be with you when you took your last breath to comfort you during your transition....and I was not. I always will reget that we could not be together during that time. It's strange to mark this anniversary. One full year of not being able to visit with you in person or speak to you on the phone. Yet, every day I am alive you will always be a part of my life. Any celebrations of joy I may have will be with you in my heart. Any heartache I experience I will think of you and Callie to help me through. Your ashes rest alongside Callie's keeping me company. You will forever be present in my life. I love and miss you Senia.
Merry Christmas sister.

Awoke in the middle of the night and checked the time. Lo and behold it was exactly 12:00 am! I tend to think it was your way of reminding me that it was your birthday today. But there was no need. Already planning on celebrating your special today at Black Bear this year and ending the celebration with a slice of cheesecake instead of cake. Miss you and always love you. xoxo
We said goodbye 3 years ago when a deadly disease, COVID19, cruelly kept us away from you when you needed us most.
I will always miss you and carry the heartbreak of not being there to comfort you. I love you Senia: my sister.
Happy Birthday in Heaven Sister! Miss and love you....
