Rest in peace Rosalie. It was such fun to be with you when we were young and thought we had the world by its tail! Time pashe's too quickly sometimes.
I too remember my Aunt “Rosie” for her Jacksonville Bakery goodies that she would bring home from her wk to us little brats, what a treat. I just loved the invites to her cozy Griffin Creek home for Tamales, Enchiladas, etc. I still use the skills she taught me for baking Mexican food for my father Bob Lane and family. I would spend hours using her binoculars attempting to glass for lions, tigers & bears!
??????Oh my! ??
Aunt Rosie hand sewed my gorgeous prom dress in the early 90’s. I just brought her a magazine cutout of a very complex yet gorgeous white silk/taffeta number and she duplicated it to a T and of course it fit like a glove! Most of all I will never forget the gentle kindness and guidance that she showed me as a young girl. No teasing or harsh words, just pure love. I will see you again in heaven Aunt Rosie.??
