Ron is not with us today, however, he will never be forgotten. A man that was full of life, who was a serious competitor, especially on the golf course. Always willing to help anyone in need and his labor of love, volunteering at the Naples Florida Train Museum. He will be missed by all. Condolences and prayers to Terry and the entire Vitale Family. (On the other side Goomba!)

Ron was a special friend for over 65 years,!  We shared wonderful and lasting memories with Ron especially on the Terry V,,playing softball, golfing, vacations to New York City as well as the many functions held at the Winter Hill Yacht Club when he was Commodore.  He will truly be missed. Condolences and sympathy to the entire family.  Tony and Janet Marino

Ron Vitale was a good friend and an absolute joy to work with at the Depot.  We nicknamed him “Boston Ron”.  It was obvious he loved piloting the Steam Locomotive and teaching every volunteer on how a real railroad operates. We learned a lot from him. We loved his smile and his quick wit.  His true exhilaration shined through when he interacted with the children.  He made them smile and laugh when he let them blow the whistle on the Steam Locomotive. His quick wit played well with the adults when the crew performed our interactive and extremely corny shtick! He enjoyed the fist bumps, high fives and the occasional hugs from the toddlers.  We will miss him. All Aboard, Boston Ron, All Aboard.
