Roger was a very caring and devoted man to his family and friends. During his lifetime he helped others. He was retired from IBM and used his talents (which he had many) for the use of helping and assisting others. It was a usual thing for him to drop what he was doing to help friends and family. He will be missed by all of us for his love, care and devotion. Chris Rogers (wife)

Chris and family, Even though we did not see each other so much, living in different states, the times we did get to visit with Roger were good visits. I remember how he and Julian could talk and talk. Have never met any of Roger's children and would like to let them know they are in my thoughts and prayers, along with you, Love, your neice, Bobbie
Chris, we continue to remember you in our prayers in this difficult time. While we only met Roger briefly when we ran into you at Target, we join in sympathy with all your friends at GABC. Thanks for your testimony of faithful service to Roger in his illness. We'll be in touch. Matt and Linda
Roger will always be remembered as a multi-talented, intelligent, and capable man with a very wide range of interests and experiences. His devotion and support to family and friends was obvious to all who knew him. We will miss him dearly for a very long time, and will forever cherish his memory. Much love, Keith, Elaine and Lucile
I have been privileged to have known Roger since 80's. He has always been polite, caring, easy smile and laughter- never profanity. When my son,Guy and his wife were married in 1988, he did not have a suit to wear in the formal wedding. Roger offered his nice black suit to Guy to wear and Guy wore it! I will miss you my friend. Fondly,Joyce Edwards
I only knew Roger for a short time but found him to be a kindred spirit. Always a bright smile and a kind heart. I will remember him fondly for that. Mike Petree
I have fond memories of Roger over the many years I've known him. Our sorority group had some wonderful times at parties and dinners. He was always pleasant and fun to be around. He was a man of many talents and he will be missed by all. Blessings, Pat Mays
What a wonderful man Roger was, what a great man he was, what a caring man he was! He helped my daughter and I so much, even teaching my daughter to drive when she was sixteen years old! He always offered a helping hand and was always there when we needed him! We will miss him and love him dearly! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family! Love, Terry Tinsley and Shannon Loving
