My sincere condolences for your loss. Death of a loved one is painful I know.  I've personally found comfort in the words at Acts 24:15 that says there will be "a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" in order to live again on a newly restored paradise earth (Psalms 37:29) This is a promise and hope from our loving God Jehovah.
