Rod Duncan, Bob Maynard, Sister Rosemary and I ran around Lake Merritt every other weekday morning in the '70s. It was good exercise and great conversation. The Rev. W. Evan Golder
Rod and my grandfather, Henry Perry, were long-time and dear friends. Rod was considered an honorary member of the Perry family. My grandfather passed away just a few days after Rod, on October 2nd - I'm sure he and Rod are together in heaven, sharing family stories, laughing and discussing politics per usual. Rod will be missed. With deepest sympathy, The Perry Family.
I worked for him for 15 years or so. He was a kind and wonderful man. And one of the wisest people I have ever met. He was an inspiration. A good friend and neighbor, I'll miss him always.
Wishing my Godfather was still here physically. I bought a book. Lawsuits, I sure could use your help and a plate of that delicious spaghetti you use to make when we'd visit after church on Sunday. Those we're good times. Remember me? Rosalee G. Jacksons daughter, your God daughter , Jennifer, Los Angeles, my mother passed, 2014, maybe you'll see each other .
