We who work at the San Francisco Opera were very fond of Doug.We wish his family peace. Sigmund and Karen.

I knew Doug briefly. He was my boss at LucasFilm and he fired me.  It was because of Doug that I went on to found Digital Domain, a direct competitor to Industrial Light and Magic, a LucasFilm Company. I never really got to personally thank Doug. So, thanks Doug, if it wasn't for you I would not have lived my life to its fullest.
