Miss Irving was one of the very best teachers I’ve ever had. Hands down. Whether it was in Pre-Algebra or the Photography Club in the 7th grade, I learned so much from her. It’s sad how we don't always realize it at the time, what an special impact a great teacher makes on our life. She did.
I will be forever grateful. May she rest in peace.
Dear Robin was our beloved neighbor for many decades, and we cherished her. Her parents lived lives of service and showed love for others every day. Robin and the rest of this beautiful family are the same way. Our hearts are with all of you.
I had Mrs Irving for 7th grade math at the McGlynn . I remember how much I struggled with my mental health, I was hospitalized in and out of middle school honestly. This woman was racist and vile to her black students, kicking me out of class for months on end when I finally reappeared at school after coming home. I was not a trouble maker, I was troubled. I wanted to learn. She was cruel.
