I am saddened to hear of the passing of Bob Saltz. Bob was a one-of-a-kind, larger than life, and a man who left a lasting impression. A consummate sales executive and lover of life. As he passed through the halls of AMR Research, he left a wake of optimism and “can do” esprit de corps. Never to busy to share a kind word with anyone and everyone, I feel privileged to have been a colleague.
Rest in peace Fond memories of our loving family
I am so sorry to hear about Bob’s passing. Lynne, my heart goes out to you! Mr. Saltz was my first boss and taught me so much during those years at AMR. He was an incredible person with a heart of gold and I will always remember him fondly.
Bob was truly unique---plaids and stripes. A man of irrepressible energy and enthusiasm. A tenacious advocate for whatever task, sale or cause was before him. Devoted family man to Lynne and children. Unmatched gift to connect with people, through humor and infectious laughter. Excited about the next "whopper" venture.
John has many fond memories of early days with him for AMR---rides on the T from Wonderland to Boston for a meeting, assembling handouts in the Charles Hotel garage before a Cambridge conference, overhearing the "Can't afford to be without it," pitch of his sales track.
Glad we knew you, Bob. Rest in Peace.
