Goodbye for now,
The only terrible thing about having had such a wonderful father... Is how hard it is
to say goodbye to him. And to miss him every single day. I feel so blessed to have
had him in my life for 59 years. The past 10 years have been extra special. We
were able to say all the things that seemingly were too difficult to say during our
early years. As much as I prepared myself for this day, it is never easy saying
goodbye. You can rest in peace knowing we will take over for you in watching over
the woman you have loved the past 65 years. I saw this quote recently, "Death
ends a life, not a relationship." You will not be forgotten. I plan to continue our
conversations till the day I see you again.
