Debbie and David, as you well know, your father and I shared a mutual respect and admiration for each other as human beings who cared a lot about others---especially the schoolchildren whose education   we worked on together for eight years.  I will never forget him and hope I can recover from my current bout with Pneumonia to be there with you to honor the man we all loved.
