Although not in touch with Bob for years, I remember him exactly as described and valued his eternal optimism.  I benefited from this as a  brand new physician in a brand new practice, at Harvard Community Health Plan, in Medford Square, Medford, MA.  We needed him and were improved by his presence. My condolences to all.
