Bob and I were both in the same class at Watsonville High School.  We played several sports on the same team.  Bob was someone I looked up to…he was taller than me.  But Bob had an air about him.  Intellectual, steady, in control.
I heard Bob went into banking business,  which seemed appropriate for the stature of him I perceived.
The picture of Bob in the obituary captures my vision of him perfectly.
Bob and I were born in the same Month and Year, though Bob had 10 days footing in the world before I came on the scene.  Perhaps this seniority was the reason he seemed so mature.
As with many of my old classmates, I wish that the years had allowed us to keep better in touch. But, time and life, family and business, all impacted such continued relationships.
Even so, I believe it is a definite loss.  Bob, I wish the best for you and your family in dealing with your loss.  My memories of you during our short time in high school are fond and positive.  May God continue to bless you, and your family through this transition.  Glen Olives     Class of ‘64

I knew Bob when he started at Wells Fargo Bank and we were friends for many years, until life drifted apart. It would have surprised me to run into him in Elk Grove where I have also lived for the last 20 years.  I am happy to hear he had a wonderful family.  I am sorry to hear he had medical challenges.  Bob was so funny and helpful at work and with friends.  Sandy Carlson
