Mr. Taylor was an inspiration to all who worked at St. Christopher's.  He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart.  I have thought of him often since his retirement.  He lived the kind of life one remembers.  I am sure he is singing with the Angels in Heaven.

Mr. Taylor was the kindest and most thoughtful of men. From keeping the temperamental furnace running in the old Lower School to always being available to help the boys open, reach, find, or lift, he could do anything and always with a gentle smile. I will miss him.

The world has lost a prince of a man. I first met Rob when we both worked at Spitzer Cleaners, then continued our friendship at St. Christopher's School, then when I'd occasionally see him at Ukrops. He was a hard worker but one of the most positive, joyful people I've ever known. Always with a ready smile and warm handshake. My sincerest condolences to his family.  

Robert was my neighbor for over 25 years. He was a wonderful neighbor, even standing with me when I buried a beloved pet and helping me out when I needed it, as good neighbors do. But it wasn't until the past few years that he also became a very close friend. As his life became more limited by the hazards of age, we spent more and more time together, laughing together and sharing stories.
