Sweet lasting memories of my childhood, family summer vacations on the Russian River will sing in my heart forever. Swimming in the river, eating a huge stack of sour pancakes before discoviering they were sour, ww !! ended while we were there, Fliping me the basket ball. 10 years younger, you were like an older brother to me, Uncle Bob. You live in a special place in my heart. Maagee
Each time I'm at the family cabin on the river, dear memories of my childhood summers with you, Grandma, my Mom and Dad and little Nancy, drift back to a time when we were all so innocent and for 2 weeks, time stood still, each summer. Grandma and Dad saved their rationed WW II gas stamps, so we'd have enough gasoline to drive there and back home again. We lived in our own special world.
