I knew this Guy once whom;  was a Loving son, a watchful and nurturing brother, a trusted friend, a proud military man, a skilled card player, a joyful and knowledgeable  cousin, a shrewd business  person, an inspirational neighbor. He enjoyed his Family, Friends, Christmas ?? and Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown cartoons, his  many nieces, nephews and Hot Buttered Pop corn.
He was often Ready & Eager to help a person in need and was fond of ????? Mermaids.
The world is a sadder place without him, he will be greatly missed.
If he had a Family of his own, I would want his offspring to know that They came from "Good Stock" and could be Proud of the many Faucets of their Dad, that with GOD'S BLESSING his Good Grace's run through them as well and no matter what struggles they have, if they were a third of the man that Rick came to be, the can hold their heads high and be proud; for he knew how to Love,  how to give Love, and how to be Loved.   It's said that a progress comes not by waiting for other people  to do something, but by doing one's own part, thus showing their GODLY DEVOTION - Such was the way of this Guy I've known. MR. Richard Edwards ?? my nephew.

Our Brother Rick, is a handsome respected fun guy. I ask the Lord "Another one gone too soon, why?"As I wipe the tears from my face, I know Rick you're in a better place. I remember when mom and dad would take us to Franklin Park to play and run. Me, you Sammy Val Tony Dee Dee, and Tyrone. I hope they all remember, we had a lot of fun Mom would always sing to us. Then she had two more kids Paul and Pam. When our Dad passed she bought us a nice house in Mattapan, I remember her cooking us home fries beans, and spam. Then at night, she would take us to Carson Beach by Columbia Point where we had cousins who lived nearby. As we dug up some clams before we went home to wash up and sleep. I remember the day before you left for the Army you had on a uniform, had a haircut, and looked quite charming. Yes, brother, you were a great great uncle it's true. Many generations anew, I had three sons and from them, our family grew. You are already missed by many it's true. We will never forget you. Our Brother Rick. Much love every day from us all, this will stick.

Rest In Peace,

Love, your big sis Tee Tee.

My Dearest Ricky,
I was so glad that you made it to the Family Reunion this year, for me to actually! I hadn't seen you in so long!
Glad we got a chance to hang out at Mickey's! It was good to see your unforgettable smile!!!!
When I saw you at BMC, I knew you was on the way to Freedom! I knew that you had earned your wings! I'm glad you knew we were there for you! We love you Rick, but GOD loved you best, HE didn't want you to suffer, so, HE took you to rest! I am so proud of you Nephew! You had your house in order!  I pray others in the family follow your example of what we need to do before our time comes and it will! Don't leave your work undone so others won't have the burden of doing it for you!!!! Rick, I loved you then, I love you still, I love you now and always will!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time, may looking back to memories help comfort you tomorrow!!!
Rick may perpetual light shine upon your soul and may you rest in peace!
I've heard people say this before, but you Rick can honestly say " FAMILY DON'T CRY CAUSE I'VE GONE AWAY!
JUST KNOW THAT I TRULY. CAN SAY, I ASKED NO ONE FOR ANYTHING AND   I LIVED LIFE MY WAY!!!!!
( eat your heart out Frank Sinatra)
Ricky may perpetual light shine upon your soul and may you rest in peace
With all my heart
Aunty Pat

To my loving brother. As time nears for closing out this memory page for you. I am so touched by all the outpouring of love and memories of you.Thank you again for making this last task you asked of me so easy by pre-planning. Planning is a valuable gift that you can give a family. By having every important document prepared and locked away was genius. Love you big brother. Rest. Love Val
