My condolences to the Calhoun family. Mr. Calhoun and his family are a part of my early life growing up in Danville.
My first introduction to Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun was when we had been caught sneaking into the Love Lane house before it was finished. Mrs. Calhoun gave us a piece of her mind as we ran out. John
From 1965 Spaghetti Feeds and Mexican Fiestas at Church our fathers had more fun cooking for a 1,000 people than the kids had flirting and helping out. Judge was my sponsor for Confirmation. He was Hapro at Halloween, and Santa for many Christmas eve or day, of course with Darlene by his side. Fun, Loving, Intelligent, Fair, Kind; A True Gentleman. Thank You Judge.
I’m remembering hiking as a kid with Connie around the hills and then going to their house and, even though I loved my own mom and dad, wishing her parents could be my parents too. I admired them both so much. Sending condolences to the whole Calhoun family and especially Connie.
My deepest condolences to the Calhoun family
