Rich Railton was always fun to listen too.  His stories of his "racing" days had me wondering many a times if he was in fact taking me for "a ride"  Turns out, they were all true.  Craig Breedlove and his jet car, Paul Southerlands Dragging records, and Rich's own work on helping to engineer early concepts of the shuttles space arm.  I came to know him as a friend and american story
