Our father was the most loving, intelligent and forgiving person. He was my 'go to' person for advice and reassurance. I miss him terribly, and there are moments during each day I look over at his favorite seat expecting to see him, or remember if I'm shopping that I need to return home to give him his lunch. I am reassured at least he is with Mom and at Peace. Linda
Dad, your Kitties, Robin and Bonnie are missing you....but they are receiving their love from us like you asked us to do for them.
Uncle Dick was my father's baby brother and one of the most kind and sensitive people I have ever known. We were kindred spirits, he being the youngest in his family and I the youngest in mine.
Once, all alone at a family gathering in Lafayette, CA, Uncle Dick tucked me under his wing. I might have been five years of age and he took me down to meet and pet the cows in the back yard. That was a first! This kind gesture is etched in my heart forever.
Love you always, Uncle Dick.

Despite Dad's protests before he died about not wishing to have a memorial as he had choreographed for our mother, we had a very lovely 'family and friends' gathering . It was beautiful and he would have enjoyed it . Lovely music of his favorite tunes played and sung by his granddaughters, and a barber shop quartet, and loads of pictures of life lived with love and fun. We will remember.
