I worked with Dick at both Melrose Junior High School, and at our second job with New England Home Remodeling.  Dick was a consummate sports fan, and could probably have been a sportswriter for the Boston Globe.  He would often parse about all of the sports news commentary from the newspapers with Ken Mitchell while on the jobsite. He loved to speak about how proud he was of his children.
