Dick was such a powerful presence on Morada Ln. when were we were growing up. He was always working on some cool project in the garage, with his amazing yellow '57 Chevy parked in the driveway. To me he seemed about seven feet tall, with that deep, jovial laugh. I'm so glad he was such a great friend of my parents, and I hope he's up there, rafting and laughing with my pops. Legendary.
As my beloved mother used to say: “As long as they are in our memory, they live in our hearts forever.” When you met Dick, I knew you met the light of your life. Together you were like a torch! I was so happy you found such a fine man. When he looked at you, he always looked like a man in love and that never seemed to change as the years flew by.
A number of years ago Dick and Sue moved in across the street from us. What amazing neighbors they were. There didn't seem to be a day that we didn't see Dick out in the yard working, doing something to make the yard more beautiful. We will always look for his warm smile, and friendly greeting. Never forget you Dick. Your family will carry on your goodness.
