I admire what Dick did for CNOA. He loved his family had our backs. His dedication to the CNOA and how he valued the importance of collaboration, networking and cocktailing with friends. I never doubted his loyalty to police and the high ethical standards that he exemplified. I loved having a gin and tonic with Dick and Jan. And one more thing... well, I can't post everything. Will always remember the Viking-Rocket and Vanguard - Micro Rocket games.  The rivalry was amazing.  You touched so many young mens lives.  RIP Mr Verbrugge!!

I grew up with my cousins Bruce, Mike and James Collins. In San Francisco Bay Area. I got to know Uncle Dick as he was good friends with my Favorite Uncle Jim. I listen allot learning you learn more with listening than running your young mouth! Being around Uncle Dick he help a young man after my Marine Corps time over.
